Freshies.... in May? New Snow Picture

New Snow In May
Yes, new snow fell yesterday and last night on Heavenly Mountain Resort. This picture was taken this morning from one of our vacation rentals near the Stagecoach Lift at Heavenly. Not sure why we are getting new snow at the end of May???? We could have used this action in March or April.

I cannot guarantee it is safe to ski or snowboard, but I can guarantee you will not have to worry about things getting tracked out.

Lake Tahoe Concerts

Just saw the Big Head Todd & the Monsters concert Tuesday night at Crystal Bay Casino, and it was epic! Very personal feel. There couldn't have been more than 500 people, but it felt as if my friends and I were the only ones there with the band. Drinks were very reasonable ($3 PBR, $4 vodka cocktail) and the tickets were $25 in advance ($30 day of show) without additional handling fees/charges. Highly recommend seeing at show at this venue!
