Heavenly Mountain Resort started the snow making machines at the base of the Stagecoach Lift on the Nevada side last night. Looks like they may have Stagecoach ready to go by this coming weekend.

My first day skiing Heavenly Mountain Resort is now accomplished. At this point, everybody must use the Gondola to access the mountain and then take Tamarack Express to ski/board Orion. I spent 3 hours doing laps on Orion and Dipper Express. Orion had great coverage from top to bottom and Heavenly did a great job getting things going during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Even though all of my time was spent on a groomer today it was still great to be back on the skis and starting another season.
