First Real Snow Fall

We are looking at 6 inches plus up near the Stagecoach Lift and Boulder Lift to Heavenly Mountain Resort (Heavenly North Area).

Here is the lower part of the Stagecoach Run about 200 yards above the Stagecoach Lift and Stagecoach Lodge.

First snow in South Lake Tahoe / Heavenly North arrived this morning. I attached a couple of pictures showing the new snow on the Stagecoach Run at Heavenly Mountain Resort. The second picture is the top of the Stagecoach Lift. Additional new snow will come today and tomorrow. At the bottom of the page I have included information about a Ski Lease opportunity.

Weather Report

Cold front arriving on Friday with light to moderate snow on Friday and Saturday bringing 6 to 12 inches to the Heavenly North Area.

We have our Heavenly Hideaway vacation rental with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe available this weekend. It sleeps 6 and is very close to the Boulder Lift and Stagecoach Lift at Heavenly Mountain Resort.

I am waking up to 1.5 feet of fresh powder in the Heavenly North area of South Lake Tahoe. It is snowing right now and is predicted to continue snowing until 4pm today. Hoping we can get at least 2 feet from this storm.

Heavenly Mountain Resort has 3 chairs on wind hold right now (Tamarack, Sky and North Bowl).

The snow has already started and will continue until late Sunday night. Weather reports for the Heavenly North Area suggest at least 2 feet of snow will fall before this storm passes.

I was able to ski 7-10 inches of new snow at Heavenly Mountain Resort today. The snow has been falling on and off for the last 2 days with more snow coming over the next 4 days. It has been colder so the new snow is much lighter.

Another 2-3 inches of new snow fell last night with more snow predicted each day for the rest of the week. All of the runs at Heavenly Mountain still have plenty of coverage--- the snow falling this week will freshen things up a bit.

Just got word the last set of snow blowers leading to the Stagecoach Lift will start tonight. In addition, the weather report has clouds arriving this Sunday with a snow storm coming Monday- Tuesday- Wednesday. Could be a great week on the mountain.
