There are two access points on the Nevada side of Heavenly Mountain Resort (Stagecoach Lift/Lodge and Boulder Lift/Lodge). I recommend the Boulder Lift and Lodge for all beginner skiers/snowboarders. The Boulder Lift/Lodge area has food and drink, ski school, rentals and the Magic Carpet(for beginners).

You can access the entire mountain from the Boulder Lift and it is a very easy to get to the brand new Olympic Chair from this access point.

The Boulder Lift moves at a slower speed for beginners.

The Boulder Parking Lot is level which makes parking and walking to the lift very easy--- especially when you have young children. There are Heavenly Buses that take you to the Stagecoach Lodge/Lift and down to the Casinos from this area.
